I. Cultivation Objectives
This major closely around the orientation of building a high-level applied science and engineering university of the school. It aims to cultivate compound and applied international business management talents who possess correct values, high professional qualities, a sense of social responsibility, and can practice the core socialist values. They are required to master the basic theories, knowledge and methods of economics and management, be familiar with international business practices and regulations, have strong English communication skills, possess professional knowledge and skills in international business such as planning and promotion, enterprise international project management, etc., have the awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship, and have an international vision and business aspirations. Graduates of this major are mainly engaged in international business planning, international brand promotion, transnational project management, international business operation and management and other jobs in various enterprises and institutions.
Objectives to be achieved by students five years after graduation:
Objective 1: Be able to abide by national policies, laws and regulations in international business practices, fulfill social responsibilities, and take the initiative to improve and demonstrate one's own social service responsibilities, social morality, humanities and scientific literacy, and professional ethics in modern management.
Objective 2: Adapt to the needs of social development and the construction of the market economy, be able to comprehensively apply modern and outstanding traditional Chinese economic management theories as well as professional knowledge of international business to judge, analyze and research phenomena and problems in international business and its related fields, and formulate solutions.
Objective 3: Be able to apply professional skills in international business such as international market analysis, planning and promotion, and enterprise international project management to carry out international business activities, summarize practical experience, attempt to make breakthroughs and innovations, solve complex international business problems such such as international market analysis and development and enterprise international project management under the background of multidisciplinary integration in international business and its related fields, and become the backbone of operation or management in the affiliated units.
Objective 4: Have relatively strong abilities in language and writing expression, interpersonal communication and organizational management, be able to take the initiative to cultivate team awareness, carry out management and research work for teams in this discipline and multidisciplinary teams with the spirit of teamwork, Internet thinking, a sense of globalization and an international vision, and adapt to a cross-cultural working environment.
Objective 5: Possess innovation ability and the spirit of entrepreneurship, have the ability of lifelong learning and quickly adapting to the complex and changeable international business operating environment and social environment, be brave to pursue new positions and new occupations, be able to make contributions in different positions and achieve one's own continuous development.
Ⅱ、Graduation Requirements and Graduation credit regulations
Program duration:Flexible academic period, generally 4 years, with a flexible range of no less than 3 years and no more than 7 years.
Graduation credit requirements: Students must complete the minimum credits required by various courses according to the requirements of the guiding cultivation plan, and complete the corresponding extracurricular arrangements. Students can graduate only when they reach at least 160 credits.
