I. Cultivation Objectives
The cultivation objectives of this major encompass two directions: Operations Management and Cross-Border E-commerce.
1. Cultivation objectives of Operations Management direction: the Operations Management direction mainly aims to train application-oriented and composite e-commerce professionals with firm political direction, social responsibility, good professional ethics and certain humanities and social sciences cultivation, with basic knowledge and concepts of modern management, Internet economy, network marketing and e-commerce, proficient in e-commerce organization and operation, supply chain and logistics management and strong abilities in online store operation, e-commerce visual marketing design, e-commerce data analysis, network promotion and Internet application. Employment direction: Graduates are suitable for positions in e-commerce management, e-commerce platform operation, online promotion and marketing, e-commerce visual design, and other related fields.
2. Cultivation objectives of Cross-Border E-commerce direction: Cross-Border E-commerce direction mainly aims to cultivate application-oriented and composite Cross-Border E-commerce professionals with firm political direction, social responsibility, good professional ethics and certain humanities and social sciences cultivation, with basic knowledge and concepts of modern management, Internet economy, network promotion and e-commerce, proficient in international trade practices, cross-border e-commerce transactions, international trade correspondence and other basic knowledge, and strong capabilities in cross-border e-commerce platform operation, English communication and writing, e-commerce data analysis and other capabilities. Employment direction: Graduates are suitable for working in foreign-related enterprises, institutions, and government departments in cross-border e-commerce, cross-border online marketing, foreign-related trade, and other related fields.
Objectives to be achieved by students five years after graduation
Objective 1: Demonstrate strong personal qualities, high professional ethics, and a strong sense of social responsibility, while exhibiting teamwork spirit, effective communication skills, and leadership capabilities.
Objective 2: Acquire the ability to operate and manage e-commerce enterprises, demonstrate familiarity with the Internet economy and emerging trends in e-commerce development, and develop the capability to manage business risks effectively.
Objective 3: Build a strong theoretical foundation in international trade, acquire specialized cross-border e-commerce operational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various platforms for enterprise cross-border business operations.
Objective 4: Develop strong abilities to leverage information technology for strategic planning, effective promotion, efficient implementation, and comprehensive management.
Objective 5: Cultivate lifelong learning abilities and a proactive self-improvement mindset, possess a global perspective, and demonstrate adaptability to dynamic social environments.
II. Academic Duration and Graduation Credit Requirements
(1) Academic Duration
The basic education system is 4 years (2 years for upgrading from vocational school to undergraduate school), and a flexible education system can be implemented on the basis of the 4-year education system, but the general study period is not less than 3 years and not more than 7 years. Students who have completed the courses and credit requirements stipulated in the professional training program, passed the assessment, are allowed to graduate.
(2) Graduation Credit Requirements
This major requires students to complete the required credits for compulsory courses, elective courses, and all practical teaching activities, pass the exams, and obtain a total of 159.5 credits (77.5 credits for upgrading from vocational to undergraduate) through the defense of their graduation thesis, in order to be eligible for graduation.
