I.Training objectives
According to the development orientation of the university and the concept of OBE, this program aims to cultivate students who practice socialist core values, possess good ideological and moral character, and are well-adapted to the social development needs of the digital economy era. Students will master the basic knowledge, theories, and methods of economics, be familiar with internationally accepted rules of international economy and trade, and understand the operation mechanisms and development laws of domestic and foreign economies. They will achieve proficiency in one foreign language and acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge in international trade, international economic cooperation, cross-border e-commerce operation, and management. Additionally, students will develop strong capabilities in handling cross-border digital trade and digital business operations, as well as proficiency in modern information technology. They will possess good communication and coordination skills, an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, a global perspective, and a comprehensive knowledge system. With the ability to analyze and research foreign trade data, graduates will be equipped to work in foreign trade, foreign economic affairs, and other units engaged in international economics and trade practice and management. They will contribute to regional economic and social development and demonstrate a certain degree of innovation ability, becoming applied, versatile, and innovative talents.
(i) International Economics and Trade Analytical Direction
Upon graduation, after approximately five years of practical work, students will be able to achieve the following objectives:
1.Practice socialist core values and demonstrate good professional ethics, with familiarity in national policies, laws, and regulations related to international trade and the digital economy, a high sense of social responsibility, and strong social service ability.
2.Systematically master and apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of international economics and trade, demonstrating solid practical abilities in comprehensive foreign trade business and organizational management.
3.Identify, analyze, judge, and solve complex international trade and digital economy problems based on practical experience and theoretical knowledge, while possessing the ability to analyze and research foreign trade data and manage project operations.
4.Exhibit an open international outlook, proficiency in communication and application of foreign trade English, the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and lead teams, and proactively adapt to the needs of social development in the digital economy era, along with strong communication skills.
5.Possess independent and lifelong learning abilities, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship skills, particularly in the fields of international trade and the digital economy.
II.Provisions for the duration of the program and the number of credits to be taken in the program
(i) Schooling.
The basic study period is 4 years, with a flexible study period ranging from 3 to 6 years. Those who fail to graduate after the maximum study period will be treated as graduates.
(ii) Requirements for graduation credits.
This program requires students to complete the required courses, elective courses, and all practical teaching sessions, pass all assessments, and successfully defend their thesis. A total of 163 credits must be obtained to be eligible for graduation.
