Course Description: Management is the basic and core course for business administration majors. As a forerunner, it lays the theoretical foundation and thinking paradigm for other subsequent courses. The courses include the introduction to management, the historical evolution of Chinese and western management ideas and theories, decision-making, planning, organization, leadership, control, innovation and other knowledge. Through the study of this course, students will be familiar with the theoretical system of management, master the basic concepts and methods of management, update management concepts, enrich management literacy, understand the latest development trend of management, and be able to use the basic concepts, principles and methods of management to analyze and explain management phenomena and activities, so as to discover and solve management problems. They can deeply study and absorb Chinese management ideas and wisdom, build up cultural confidence, learn management, apply management, and enjoy the happiness and effectiveness of management.
