Course Description: Human Resource Management is a core course for business administration majors. The forerunner course Management lays the theoretical foundation and thinking paradigm of management. Organizational Behavior studies the behavior and attitude of people in organizations systematically. This course builds the modern knowledge framework of human resource management. The content of the course includes not only the core modules of human resource management such as planning, recruitment, training, performance and compensation, but also the new practices of human resource management such as the three pillars, which meet the needs of organizations in the modern era for collaborative management of attracting and retaining talents, and show the value of managers in effective human resource management in the era full of challenges and changes. Through the course learning, students will be familiar with the basic theories, basic tools of modern human resource management and the basic contents of human resource management activities, and master the basic procedures, principles and methods of human resource planning, job analysis and position design, employee recruitment and training, performance management, salary management and employee relationship management, etc. Lay the foundation for further study, research and work practice in the future.
